My methods are a bit outside of the box

because I'm looking you and your body as a whole

Hi! I'm Dr. Aissa McGuirl

I have alway been in love with movement and played sports my entire life. At the same time, my body has alway been a bit more sensitive, which has brought me here today.

I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford in 2017. Throughout college and grad school I worked in the fitness setting. Even with all the stuff I knew about the body, the medical field, and fitness, I suffered from multiple unexplained injuries and symptoms.

Then when I had my daughter in 2021 I learned the hard way of what not to do after a baby, and how the process of growing a baby changes your body.

Over the years I have dove further and further into the body to understand the “why’s” and “how’s” at the deepest level to affect the big picture.

To understand the “whys” better I have taken countless continuing education courses to formulate a method to help women in all aspects of their life… the things that they come to me for pain, pelvic floor issues, as well as the symptoms they didn't understand were related...help them gain strength, better functionality, and transform their body...and give them the tools to do this for the rest of their life.

The body is so amazing if you just give it what it needs

better movement, better nourishment from food, and better lifestyle habits based on your individual differences.

In the “why’s” you pull out so many useful pieces of information that tell you more about the big picture… because you are not just a person that wants to be out of pain, wants to lose weight, feel confident in your body, have more energy, or just be overall healthy...

we are such dynamic creatures, and when you know why and how all these things connect, and you are able to apply it your individual difference...you are able to live the most fulfilling life: in terms of health, your appearance, and and how you show up each day.
